Brining Ministry Training to You

The mobile aspect of the Ministry Skills Institute is to provide ministry training to a group of people who desire to be equipped in ministry skills at their location.  The instructor comes to their site to present the course.  It is most feasible when there is a group of at least 10 people.   MSI offers all 12 Basic Ministry Training Courses through its mobile venues. 
 

Working with the interested group, a meeting site (church, conference room, etc.) will be secured that will be adequate for the equipping sessions.  Usually the time involved for the lecture sessions of the class provided by the instructor, will span over an extended weekend (Thursday and Friday evening 7-9pm and Saturday 9am-3pm).  A few courses require a few more hours which would add two more week nights 7-9pm.  Beside the lecture there is a syllabus, handouts, books and assignments that are part of each course.  Students are required to purchase their books in addition to the class tuition.  Following the lecture portion, students must then complete their independent study portions and submit their finished assignments to the MSI office to receive credit for the course.  People can take the course for their own enrichment and equipping without credit, but the tuition is the same.  A Ministry Training Certificate is awarded to students satisfactorily completing all 12 Basic Ministry Training Courses.
 

It is also helpful for the group to provide lodging accomodations (home or hotel) for the instructor.  MSI is relationship based instruction, so interaction with members of the group is a welcomed dynamic of the time together.
